Because of your generosity, Janiya's dance dreams came true! She attended Earl Mosley's Institute of the Arts (EMIA) Summer Intensive, and enjoyed classes in ballet, modern, African, theatre, yoga, percussion, and more.  Janiya was also awarded a scholarship to enroll in MOVE(NYC)'s Young Professionals Program that provides high-caliber dance education, leadership training, and year-long performance opportunities to talented and motivated New York City teenagers. “It's great for young people to see community leaders, legislators and people they see on TV get out of our element and do something unique for children. If I can make a fraction of an impact on young people that James Brown made on me, I'll dance."
